Lazy bowel syndrome or irritable bowel syndrome in short IBS is a widespread disorder which has an effect on your large bowel or intestine known as colon. Lazy colon syndrome usually gives rise to stomachache, stomach cramp, abdominal pain and bloating, intestinal gas, flatulence, diarrhea, mucus-like stool, constipation and intestinal obstruction. In spite of these painful indications and warnings constipation does not reason a permanent damage to your bowels. Irritable bowel syndrome does not cause inflammation and enteritis or changes in intestinal mucosa. In a sense, IBS is not risky for more serious intestinal diseases like ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease or colorectal or colon cancer. Lazy bowel syndrome can be got under control by a restrained diet, lifestyle habits and anxiety. However, in case of intestine-based pain complaints and enteric problems as mentioned above it may be the best choice to see a gastroenterologist at least one time. For, signs of IBS and diarrhea or constipation may be the syndromes of another serious illness or diseases. IBS sometimes may occur as a cronic constipation and obstipation or acute enteric diseases which disappear completely. The cause of lazy bowel syndrome is yet unknown which have the same meaning irritable bowel syndrome is a disease of unknown etiology. Intestine wall are muscle-lined. These layers of intestine muscles are in a coordinated rhythm of contraction and relaxion during they pass foods and beverages from the stomach through the intestinal tract to the rectum. The contract and relax movement of bowel may not be normal. The muscular contraction may be stronger and last longer. The gastroenteral liquid lack or poor muscle rhythm cause stools turn out to be hard and dry. In some cases, an abnormal serotonin level which plays a role in normal digestive system function may cause balance disorder of good bacteria in the bowels.

In reaction to all these reasons food is forced through the bowels more quickly. Besides, causes gas, diarrhea or constipation by abdominal pain and bloating. Some provocative factors may have an effect on some individuals although it still is not clear. Triggering factors for lazy colon syndrome can variety from flatulence or postprandial bloating on the bowels to certain nourishments, drugs, drinks or sensations. For example foods as chocolate, dry bean, roasted chickpeas and milk may cause diarrhea or constipation. Alcohol and carbonated non-alcoholic beverages some vegetables and fruit juices may lead to abdominal pain and bloating in those who are with IBS. Stress may be another trigger incident. Stressful situations may reason IBS symptoms. However, tension may only aggravate aggravate the pain and bloating, it does not lead them. Hormonal changes in menses and pregnancy or hormonal disorders may play a role in lazy bowel syndrome. Persons-at-risk are: The young ones especially under the age of thirty five, the female and the genetics. In many cases, home remedies and easy alterations in routine diet and lifestyle may heave a sigh of relief from lazy colon syndrome. Dietary fiber and fibrous foods help to ease constipation, but cause cramping and gas. A person who has IBS may increase the amount of fiber in his/her diet step by step. Some others may prefer to get a fiber supplement because of causing less bloating and flatulence. In case of taking fiber supplement,it should be introduced little by little and plenty of water should be drunk for reducing gas, bloating and bowel obstruction. Avoid flatulently foods such as alcohol, beans, broccoli, caffeine, cauliflower, cabbage, sugar-free sweeteners, fatty foods and carbonated beverages. If one has lactose intolerance he/she should have lactose-free formula. If another one has food allergy he/she should eat non allergic foods. Finally, drink planty of water.
